Joan Marks
Director of Finance
Joan Marks has a real heart for missions. She has visited Honduras, South Florida and the Apache Reservation in White River, Arizona, many times. “God calls us to go,” says Joan, “Some of us go. I love to see what God does when I am on a trip. It is always amazing to see how powerful He is—in fact, every time I go, I see His power!”
On Joan’s first trip to Arizona she was working with a team—a team that God put together. “There was a mountain of debris that we had to move from the work site,” said Joan. “Four of us worked and enjoyed fellowship together. Before we knew it, all of the debris was gone. God moved a mountain for me that day.”
Joan attends Christ’s Church in Mandarin with her husband, Scott, and her two daughters, Kristen and Lindsey. Joan is a graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton and Pace University in New York City.
