Crossroads Tutoring Program

Crossroads Tutors provide weekly after school tutoring for children who attend our nearby elementary school. This program provides one-on-one instruction and mentoring to children who are at risk for school failure. More than 20 parishioners participate as tutors. If you are interested in helping, contact Julie Pope, ministry chair.

Cub Scouts

Cub Scouting is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in grades 1-5. We meet once a week and enjoy arts and crafts, outing and field trips, family camping and service projects. While having fun, we also earn badges and awards. Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys grow into good citizens, who are strong in character and personally fit. This is why Cub Scouting is fun with a purpose. Peter Jansson, 631-6756

Boy Scout Troop 26

Troop 26 has been alive and well at St. Mark’s for the past 85 years.  All boys ages 11 and those not older than 18 are welcome to join.  Troop 26 is where a boy can camp every month, attend summer camp, be introduced to the outdoors, hike, swim, canoe, pitch his own tent, build fires, cook his own meals, have fun, learn life long leadership and teamwork skills, and be introduced to interests he will maintain his entire life.  We currently have 19 Scouts and meet on Tuesday evenings in the Youth Center at 6:45 p.m.
