Lay Eucharistic Visitors take the sacraments from the altar to those unable to attend church. They are trained by designated clergy and licensed by the Bishop. A special part of this ministry is a monthly visit to Alterra Sterling House on the third Sunday at 11 a.m. If you are ill or recently had a baby, receiving the eucharist at home is a way to participate in the Body and Blood of Christ when you are unable to attend church.
