St. Marks MOPS aims to ensure that our moms realize that mothering matters, and our MOPS group strives to encourage and equip every mother that is a part of our group to be the best mother she can be. We provide a comfortable, welcoming, inclusive environment for moms to get together 4-5 times a month with meetings (childcare provided), playdates, and girls' nights out. Our meetings include informative presentations from local professionals, crafts and projects, valuable brainstorming sessions in which moms help other moms, and fun games that promote lots of laughter and camaraderie. This year we've also conducted several successful outreach programs.
At our last meeting we prepared gift baskets for the moms at The Inn for Mother's Day. Each member brought gift items and the baskets were lovingly assembled and delivered.
