Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

The purpose of MOPS is to nurture every mother of preschoolers and equip her to become all that God has designed her to be. Meetings include fellowship, guest speakers, arts and crafts and service programs. Loving volunteers provide childcare. The Women’s Early Risers

The Women’s Early Risers is a one-hour, lay-led Bible study that includes coffee. Participants do not have to have an in-depth knowledge of the Bible to enjoy and benefit from participation. Books are available in the St. Mark’s Bookstore.

MOMSNext is an extension of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). In this group, mothers get assistance in learning how to navigate the challenges facing their elementary school aged children (and older) while providing a caring and supportive space to grow in God's love. Meetings include speakers, devotionals, activities, social events and volunteer work.
Mothers of Young Children Bible Study

This class is designed for St. Mark’s moms who are expecting or have children age three or younger. Besides having fun and fellowship, participants will read and discuss various books that provide Biblical teachings which apply to our stage in life. All books and materials are available in the St. Mark’s Bookstore. Childcare is available in the St. Mark's Nursery.
Interdenominational Bible Study for Women
Thursdays,  9:30-11:30 am, Leatherbury Hall, beginning October 5

This interdenominational Bible Study led by the Rev. Neely Towe will focus on the Gospel of John, with special emphasis on the application of God's Word to our own lives. It is a 23-week study, excluding holidays, from October to May. All denominations, ages, and levels of Bible experience are welcome!

The Prayer Shawl Ministry welcomes your talent to knit prayer shawls to comfort the sick and infirmed. All skill levels are welcomed. Yarn and needles are provided. If you would like to help but are unable to make the time, please let us know. We are happy to provide the supplies and instructions.
