"Freedom and the Fruit of the Spirit"

In this encouraging message, Rev. Billy Cerveny uses a humorous golf story to illustrate our struggle to “manufacture” the Christian life — and reminds us what real freedom looks like in Christ. Drawing from Galatians 5, he explains that the fruit of the Spirit is not something we force into existence, but something that grows naturally as we walk with Jesus and live out who we truly are in Him.

Rev. Cerveny invites us to let go of trying to fix ourselves through self-effort and instead trust the Holy Spirit to do His transforming work within us. Freedom in Christ isn’t about doing whatever we want, but living fully within the identity and purpose God has given us — rooted in love, peace, patience, kindness, and self-control.
