"Who’s Watching Who?"

In this sermon from Luke 14:1–14, Rev. Charlie Holt reflects on what happens when Jesus is invited into the home of a Pharisee leader and all eyes are fixed on Him. Through stories of power, pride, and humility, Rev. Holt challenges us to see with the eyes of Christ—valuing compassion over status, service over self-interest, and love over selfish ambition. He reminds us that true hospitality means welcoming the stranger, lifting up the lowly, and making room for those who cannot repay us.
