Drawing from 1 Corinthians, he contrasts the wisdom of the world—which seeks control, power, and self‑justification—with the wisdom of God revealed in the cross of Christ. Through vivid illustrations and storytelling, Billy shows how Jesus rewrites our understanding of identity, worth, and purpose, declaring us loved and claimed not by achievement but by grace. The sermon invites listeners to surrender competing narratives, embrace the “foolishness” of the cross, and live with gratitude, humility, and freedom as people whose story is anchored in God’s redeeming love.
