"Half In, Half Out"

In this heartfelt and challenging message from Luke 14:25–33, Rev. Billy Cerveny explores what it means to follow Jesus fully, not halfway. Using personal stories, humor, and the hard sayings of Jesus, he illustrates how divided hearts—half in with faith, half out with the world—leave us exhausted, hiding, and burdened with shame. Yet the good news is that while we are often “half in, half out” disciples, Jesus is the whole Savior who counted the cost and paid it in full. Rev. Billy calls us to surrender our priorities, trust in God’s grace, and find true freedom and wholeness in Christ.
