Lunch & Learn: “We Hold These Truths”
Wednesdays, June 10 – July 22, 12 p.m. in Leatherbury Hall
The Declaration of Independence is one of the most theologically audacious documents ever written, insisting that human equality is not a political invention but a divine gift, that rights come not from kings or constitutions but from the Creator himself. Where did those ideas come from, who believed them, and do they still hold true? This summer, we dig into the founding documents, the faith of the Founders, and the explosive question of what it means 250 years later to be both a Christian and an American. There will be no class on July 1.
